This year, the supply of memory is tight, pushing up prices to continue to rise, and the research and development agency IC Insights is expecting the DRAM sales to hit a record high in the fourth quarter.
According to an estimate by IC Insights, the sales of DRAM in the fourth quarter will be $21.1 billion, up 65 percent from the same period a year ago and the best record ever.
For the full year, the DRAM market forecast was 74 per cent, 61 percentage points higher than the 1993-2017 average and the strongest growth momentum since 78 per cent growth in 1994.
