Naya technology hits 11-year high in March

Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) Plant Naya technology (2408) and Memory Module Factory A-DATA(3260) recorded a simultaneous increase in March. Among them, Naya technology’s revenue reached NT$6.723 billion in March, a record high in 11 years. Record; A-DATA's March revenue was 3.253 billion yuan, a 57-month high.

Naya technology rebounded due to the number of working days in March and the increase in output of 20nm process. The average selling price of products increased by a low single digit percentage point, and revenue climbed to 6.723 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 13.42%, and an annual increase of 60.32%. The Republic of China came to a new high in January 1996.

A-DATA also boosted the sales volume of DRAM. In March, revenue rose to 3.253 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 57.88%, and a new high of 57 months.

Looking ahead, Li Peixi, general manager of Naya technology, previously stated that product prices are expected to remain stable or small in the second quarter. The market conditions in the first half of the year will remain stable. New production capacity will be opened in the second half of the year, but new capacity is estimated to be reached by the end of this year or early next year. It will have an impact on the market and the DRAM market is expected to be healthy for a full year.

A-DATA's chairman Chen Libai is also optimistic about the DRAM market outlook. It is expected that the DRAM market in the second quarter will remain in the off-season and the price is expected to continue to rise. As for the NAND Flash part, Chen Libai expects that with the advent of the peak season in the second half of the year, there is hope for a wave of growth opportunities.
